Postscript

I have just been on the website of our local newspaper. The police think that the woman who was murdered round the corner was probably attacked by a stranger on her way home from a night out. That sends shivers down my spine as, due to insomnia, I was downstairs watching telly about 2:00am that night when I heard a man shouting for a couple of minutes. As I said in my previous post, we get so much shouting at night that I only go out if I hear a woman's voice. As I didn't I ignored it and carried on watching telly. Now for all I know that may have been the killer attacking her! What a horrible spooky feeling. Even though I am getting older and more decrepit I am confident that I can still defend myself, and I guess my size and body language deter people from attacking me, but I fear for my wife and childrens' safety, as I cannot be with them all the time to protect them. It's a scary world at times.
